Reinforce and Enhance Your Sales Training With Product Training

The other day, my friend Kelley Robertson wrote an outstanding article: Is Your Sales Training Putting Your Sales Team At Risk? The article prompted me to think about: Why is product and sales training separated? What would happen if we integrated our sales methodologies and training into our product training?

Companies invest lots of time and money in developing product training with every new product they launch. Usually, this training focuses on training the sales person on the product features, functions, speeds and feeds. Often, it includes competitive positioning, sometimes it includes elementary objection handling. Usually the training focuses on what the product is and what it does. Sometimes it addresses how it should be sold. However, in our experience, it seldom incorporates the processes, methods and approaches introduced in sales training sessions. There is a tremendous opportunity to accelerate the launch results and to reinforce investments in sales training by incorporating sales training into the product training.

Much sales training is oriented around certain processes (ideally, the vendor has adopted their methodology to the organization’s selling process-if not, well that’s a different post). As you develop your product training, incorporate this process into the product training. For example, in qualification, what are the target markets, customers, individuals within the customers for this product? What are we looking for to qualify whether this product will be a potential solution for them? Who should we be talking to and what should we be talking to them about? In discovery, what are the needs, problems, issues we address with this product? How do we question and probe to determine whether the product is a good fit for the customer? How do we determine if our product produces value for the customer? In presenting the solution, how do we best position this product to address the needs, priorities and requirements we identified? Leverage what you have learned in developing, communicating and delivering value into developing and communicating the value of this product. Use what you have learned in putting together a justified business proposal. If you’ve had training in objection handling, how do you use that approach in handling objections customers might have with this product? If you’ve had training in negotiation, how do you leverage this with the new product? I could go on, but I’ll stop here.

It’s such a simple step-merging the sales methods into the product introduction, but few organizations do this. But if your sales people are already trained in this sales methodology, wouldn’t leveraging this accelerate the launch and improve sales success? Wouldn’t doing this reinforce the sales training and continue to build skills and capability in execution? We’ve seen tremendous results with dozens of clients. Leveraging their experience base and the sales training they have already had, accelerates their understanding of the product and how to be successful in selling it. It establishes a tight connection between what they’ve already learned and practiced, building on that strong base.

Life-Fitness Equipment – Understand the Concept

Once you initiate a fitness training program, a bodybuilding program or any other training regimen to amplify your health and physical fitness, you have the option of registering in a local fitness center or gym, or setting up your home gym. Home fitness equipment are currently very popular due to their convenience and easy acquisition. It is in this acquisition process of home gym equipment that the concept of life fitness equipment accrues.

Introducing Life Fitness equipment

The phrase life fitness equipment refers to the lifetime equipment acquisition whereby the equipment you buy is warranted for their life duration. In short, therefore, life fitness equipment refers to lifetime fitness equipment. Those who have encountered the term may not be totally familiar with the concept. If however you are intent on setting up a home gym for your physical fitness training of bodybuilding, it is important that you consider the importance and the essential meaning of lifetime equipment.

Purchasing lifetime or life fitness equipment means that the equipment you purchase come with a lifetime warranty. That is just about the best deal available in your local exercise equipment store.

Why Life fitness Equipment is a Viable Choice

The following are some of the reasons why you might consider buying life fitness equipment:

Fitness aids and equipment are very expensive and not the kind of investments you would wish to be buying every now and then if you can avoid it
With regular exercises, common fitness aides and equipment usually break down and become dysfunctional such that they hinder beneficial workouts unless you buy a replacement
Insurance covers for your home gym equipment is a more expensive option when it comes to break down, wear and tear
The convenience of knowing that your equipment will be serviced or replaced anytime it stops working efficiently, instead of having to carry out another odious shopping
In short, life fitness equipment might end up saving you a lot of time, money and trouble. Almost all types of equipment will and do break down with continued use. Whether it is furniture, cell phones, vehicles, machines or whatever else, breakage and wear and tear is a norm in the use of machines.

Your equipment is also as prone to breakage and wear and tear. You therefore need the assurance of a lifetime guarantee that the equipment will always be replaceable and or repairable at no additional cost. That is the essence of lifetime warranty carried by life fitness equipment.

Conclusion

Fitness equipment is a formidable investment. Setting up a home gym is something that should be covered by a warranty or insurance of sorts. In this regard, life fitness equipment is just about the best available option. Ideally, the lifetime warranty is offered by manufacturers and extended by equipment stores and other retailers within your local setting. Ensure that you check for such provisions when buying your home gym equipment and specifically ask for the equipment that carries with it a lifetime warranty. Additionally ensure that:

1. The price is acceptable in comparison with the normal pricing of the equipment i.e. It should not go beyond 20% of the normal price

2. The condition of the equipment while at the fitness equipment store should be brand new and functional

3. The lifetime warranty documentation properly signed by the equipment store as provided for by the manufacturer

4. The terms spelt out in the lifetime warranty to include replacement and repairs without excluding your typical usage of the equipment i.e. Some contracts will exclude electrical-fault-caused damage from warranty cover which is a trick you must avoid

5. The reliability and or dependability of the local store or manufacturer to follow through on their word based on their track record, customer support and customer satisfaction history

There is a link between a bodybuilding lifestyle and optimal health. Once an individual strikes that link, he or she attains optimal physical fitness as a by-product. With the right information, you can easily set up a training regimen that is centered on bodybuilding health. From this program, muscle mass and strength will accrue and with it physical fitness.

How to Use a Time Clock Calculator to Track Employee Hours for Multiple Projects

Thankfully, technology has evolved to offer automated solutions like time clock calculators to seamlessly track hours worked on diverse projects. This article will cover the financial and legal necessity of accurate time tracking and the limitations of manual tracking methods.

Alongside this, it will also delve into the role of time clock calculators in transforming payroll management, a step-by-step guide on setting up a time clock calculator, and tips to overcome implementation challenges.

The High Costs of Inaccurate Time Tracking
A recent study found that the US economy loses $50 million in productivity daily due to unrecorded work hours. Another report revealed that unlogged email activities can cost companies $50,000 per employee annually.

Another report stated that unlogged email activities can cost companies $50,000 per employee annually.

Furthermore, time theft drains a staggering $11 billion from organizations annually as employees misreport hours worked. That equates to $25 million in potential losses each year for a 500-person organization. Such inaccurate tracking also leads to legal issues. The Department of Labor recovered $1.4 billion for wage and overtime violations in just 5 years.

Violating labor laws like the Fair Labor Standards (FLSA) can lead to financial penalties, lawsuits, and a damaged reputation. With this, it’s clear that precise time tracking is a business imperative and not just an option. Also, the costs of being on the wrong side of compliance laws are too steep.

Flaws of Manual Tracking Methods
Despite the costs, 38% of US businesses still use paper timesheets and punch cards to track employees’ time. While familiar, these manual techniques have considerable drawbacks:

Error-Prone: Manually calculating hours leaves huge room for mistakes in data entry and computation. In these cases, even minor errors compound over thousands of hours annually.
Time-Consuming: Processing reams of paperwork is extremely inefficient, taking hours of the payroll team’s time.
Lack of Oversight: No consolidated data to identify timesheet manipulation or falsification by employees.
No Integration: Isolated data in paper formats makes payroll, billing, and project costing complex and disjointed.
Compliance Risks: Harder to ensure labor law adherence without proper audit trails. Non-compliance can lead to lawsuits.
Low Accountability: There is no way to track time waste, extended breaks, or clock-in violations.
No Analytics: Insights cannot be generated from scattered Excel sheets and physical timesheets.
For modern businesses tracking numerous projects and remote teams, manual methods are inadequate and risky.

The Rise of Automated Time Clock Calculators
Integrated time clock software solutions help organizations transition to automated tracking. These tools provide:

Real-Time Tracking: Employees clock in/out as they start and end work. With this process in place, no estimates are needed.
Calculated Hours: The system automatically computes the exact hours worked, eliminating manual calculation errors.
Labor Law Compliance: This allows you to set organization-wide rules for breaks, overtime, shifts, and time off to comply with labor laws.
GPS Tracking: Track attendance/hours of remote teams through GPS-enabled mobile apps.
Project Tracking: Assign hours to specific projects using customizable tags/categories.
Access Control: Prevent time theft with user permissions and audit capabilities.
Reporting: Generate any report needed for payroll, billing, costing, compliance audits, etc.
Data Integration: Seamlessly sync hours data with payroll, accounting, ERP, and other business software.
Analytics: Get insight into productivity, absenteeism, and capacity utilization across projects.
With such robust features, a time clock calculator can truly transform how modern businesses track employee hours and overcome the severe limitations of manual tracking systems.
